Rainham 2 signed off with their 4th win of the season when they were visited by Luton 3 and will finish 7th in Div One. Tim Davie has had a good season and got three more wins to push him to 10th in the averages. a great effort with some notable scalps. However, Mick Hambelton outdid his teammate on this occasion finding some form in this match to get his 2nd hatrick of the season and picked up his first Player of the Match Award. Rainham's 3rd player and ever-present Captain, John Coleman, recorded a brace of wins over Keith Ball and Mick Barber but went down to Dennis McConkey in 4 legs. Luton have had a tough season following promotion and never really got to grips with life in Div One suffering 17 defeats and the one draw.
