A competitive contest between Rainham III and Luton Invicta IV ended in a doubles win and a 6-4 victory for the visitors. Scott Whale went unbeaten once again to secure the win, ably supported by Phil Midgley and Sandra Parkes, who accounted for a luckless Steve Hayes. The remaining singles went the way of the hosts with Mick Maguire and John Caplen both twice victors.
