The result of a close tussle between Luton Invicta IV and Chatham Invincible was resolved with the home side taking the deciding doubles for a 6-4 win. Steve Reeves was player of the night, unbeaten in singles and doubles, supported by skipper Mary Ball, who added wins against John Allen and Simon Fever. The remaining singles went the way of Kieran Robertson, John and Simon, with Sandra Parkes unrewarded. The tie of the evening was Kieran's 13-11 fifth leg win against Mary, which kept them in the hunt for a possible draw.
