Boxley II and Hector battled the inclement weather to record a close win for the hosts at Blue Bell Hill Village Hall. Steve Neilson was the star of the night, registering wins over Sean Durkin, Ian Kelly and Chris Morford, plus the doubles with his skipper, Paul Paulding. Four games to two down, Paul began the Boxley recovery with a 14-12 fifth leg win against Chris, before Bob Ellis's win against Sean and Steve's third win and the doubles to make it 6-4
