Upnor B were restricted to a 6-4 win at Boxley II, despite a relatively comfortable treble for Dave Gracey. The home side responded with a brace for Steve Neilson against Marylyn Dudgeon and C team skipper Spencer Webb, Dick Ellis contributing a solo against Spencer and partnering Steve to a possibly unexpected doubles win against the more established Marylyn and Dave pairing. The remaining four singles went to the credit of the visitors, while Bob Ellis had an unrewarded night .
