A good win for Belfast which was helped by braces from captain Segun Ake and Sam Berhan. Sturdee were indebted to Tim Vaughan, who secured a fantastic treble, which included a 11,8 fifth leg win over Sam and two three leg triumphs. Sturdee captain Neil Le Melliere managed a three leg win over Shev Macdonald, who could only squeeze past Mehdi Golchehreh in four for his only success. Belfast won the doubles to secure the 6, 4 victory
