A fantastic drawn match at Luton with Stuart Fritter the outstanding player on the night, he picked up a brilliant maximum with his  tightest match, a 11,1 fifth leg win over Will Wrapson. His other victories were a fourth leg victory over Shaun Murray and a three leg win over Martin Ball. The last time the Martin beat Stuart, Tony Blair was in power!. Martin Ball did overcome  Martin Birley three straight, but was made to fight against Gareth Fox, just pipping him, 11,9 in the decider. The latter has really improved this season and can count himself unlucky with two fifth leg defeats, but did have the consoltion of beating Shaun 11,9 in the fifth. Luton managed to win the doubles and avoid a defeat
