Match Report

A great match to end the season and it was the home side who leapfrogged Upnor to take a very respectable fourth spot. Wayne Youngs was the only player to leave with a maximum. This was made up of two fourth leg wins and a 11,4 fifth leg victory over Shane Jarrett. Wayne Matthews picked up a brace but couldn't get past double winner Peter Worthington, who won three close legs, a great win from the Upnor player. Shane Jarret did get on the scoresheet, with a hard fought  12,10 five leg win over Neil Le Millere. The latter though, didn't go home empty handed, beating a luckless Nick Boden.  A good end of season match, with Sturdee doing well to finish fourth and Upnor, although disappointed, will be satisfied with every player contributing to the team throughout the campaign.
