Upnor B's return to Div 1 after promotion last season didnt go to plan as they were only able to field 2 players in their opening fixture against Luton Invicta 2. Stalwarts' Marylyn Dudgeon and Dave Gracey managed a single win each against Scott Whale and Phil Goldsmith respectively, but Ian Sayer proved too strong as the Frog Islanders went down 2-8. Upnor have a bye next week so hopefully can re-group for their next fixture, whereas Luton take on Sturdee.
