All of Sturdee 2's three matches this season have had a 9-1 scoreline and now with two in their favour  following this win against Rainham 2, they sit 2nd in the early Div One Table. Rainham  were without star man,Tim Davie, meaning Stephen Hayes was called up for action at "The Hut." It was a tough night for the hosts as only Mick Hambelton troubled the scorers with a fine 5th leg win over Andy Marchant. All other points went to the visitors with Dave Bonner in mean form not dropping a single leg in singles or Doubles. Jas Plaha also recorded a treble but had to withstand a John Coleman fightback to win in the 5th leg.
