Both these sides had to call up players from Div 2 to complete their line-ups with Shane Simmons and Craig Greenfield playing for Boxley and John Clark for Endurance. They all performed with credit getting one win each. The visitor's raced into a 4-2 lead before Boxley rallied taking the last 4 points to record their first win of the season.The Boxley new boys, who have both returned to competitive Table Tennis this season after a long absence, came good in their last matches . Shane showing good patience and control to beat Kevin Towner and Craig finding some fine rhythm with his shots to defeat John. With Barry Roles completing his hatrick at the expense of Ben Coake who had earlier won his first two, it was all on the Doubles which Boxley just nicked in the decider for the 6-4 win. In 24 hours Shane and Craig will again face John in their scheduled Div 2 fixture. They will be sick of the sight of each other !
