Match Report
A bit of a surprising result at the Hut where the host's recorded a 7-3 win against Luton 2. Tim Davie returned from holiday to continue his fine form, getting a superb hatrick. Only Scott Whale caused him any concern taking the first 2 legs before the Rainham man turned it round to win 11-4 in the 5th. Mick Hambelton and Ross Childs both enjoyed braces for their respective sides but it was a blank night for Luton Skipper, Tony Boarer, who was making his seasonal debut. Tony did have a great battle with John Coleman agonisingly losing legs 4 and 5 11-9. Tim and John took a tight Doubles to secure the impressive scoreline.
