Upnor B have been trying all season  to get Emmanuel Bayode, their new signing, to play and he was certainly worth waiting for ! He had three great wins against a strong Sturdee line-up and also teamed up with Dave Gracey to win a very close Doubles to secure a 4th point which was a good result against a team which has started the season well. Dave Bonner, Jas Plaha and Andy Marchant all beat Gracey and Marylyn Dudgeon but only Bonner was able to fully test Emmanuel. Andy had a great battle with Gracey coming back from 2 legs down to eventually take the 5th leg 11-8. Upnor are up one place in the table to 7th and will be hoping their new star can turn out more often.
