Rainham 83 find themselves in 3rd spot in Div One following this 4th win of the season. Tim Davie was back to treble-winning form not dropping a leg and picking up his 3rd Player of the Match Award. Upnor once again had to use a player from their 3rd team and Tony Jarrett got the call. Tony had a marathon battle with John Coleman eventually losing 16-14 in the decider. He must have used up all in his energy in this one as he couldnt win a leg against Tim and Mick Hambelton. Dave Gracey has been playing well and after overcoming Mick 11-9 in the 5th leg in his first game added a 2nd win against John and also teamed up with Marylyn Dudgeon to take a tight Doubles and a 4th point. Marylyn had earlier lost to Tim and Mick but beat John in another nail-biter.
