Match Report
Only 2 points separated these two sides in the table before the match and it still does as they played out a draw on Friday evening. No player managed a treble as Charlie Woodward and Alastair James for Wyvern, and John Coleman and Tim Davie for Rainham, recorded two wins each which meant it was 4-4 going into the last 2 games. Mick Hambelton overcame Mark Vickery in the 9th singles to give Rainham the edge so it was all on the Doubles. The home side took this 12-10 in the 5th to secure the draw. Wyvern are new to the Medway league so are still finding their feet and are currently 6th. Rainham will be pleased with their first half of the season performance only losing twice and sit in 5th place.
