With Dave Gracey on holiday, Emmanuel Bayode working, and no one available from the C team, ever present Marylyn Dudgeon had the thankless task of playing as a single this week. She was welcomed to Blue Bell Hill Village Hall, home of Boxley, but left empty handed although did earn her team the 3 bonus points for playing the match. She lost narrowly to Steve Neilson 11-9 in the 5th, in 4 close legs to Barry Roles and 3 straight to Gary Hentschel. A friendly Doubles was played to complete the evening after a cup of tea. These 2 sides will meet again shortly in the Charles Stampe Semi Final when, fingers crossed ,Marylyn will have some teammates.
