Chatham Dorset needed a big result to keep up the pressure on Sturdee 2 for the Div One 2nd spot but, unfortunately, were unable to field their strongest side for this week's visit of Boxley 1. In fact they had to call on the services of Danyal Asghar who was playing on a nearby table in a 2nd Division match to complete their line-up. Danyal has ambitions to play in Div One next season and on this evidence will do well as he came back from 2 legs down to defeat Steve Neilson in his first game. He did lose his other 2 to the experienced duo of Gary Hentschel and Barry Roles but made them work hard for their victories. Slavi Arnaudov has had a great season recording his 9th consecutive treble.  He has one match left to see if he can go through the season unbeaten which would be a fantastic achievement. Jon Jennings was Dorset's 3rd player and has improved as the season has gone on. He beat Steve in 4 legs but lost out to Roles also in 4 legs and Hentschel in a very even 5 legger. Boxley took the Doubles to secure a draw at the Howard Centre which had an end of season feel with only 3 matches taking place.
