Luton Invicta III showed their experience inflicting a heavy defeat on hosts CTTC Hector in their opener, Steve Reeves claiming player of the match, unbeaten in singles and doubles against Oliver Wood, Oliver East and Ronit Banerjee. Oliver E and Ronit averted the whitewash with their victories against Mick Barber and Phil Midgely respectively, with just one of the match ups needing a fifth leg decider. Invicta have a strong squad and will doubtless feature towards the top of the divisional table in the months to come.
