Last season's Gannet are Furious this time around ; I am once again indebted to John Clark for his match report :-

Furious (known as Gannett last year), who didn’t have a game in week 1, got off to a winning start against Rainham 3, who could only muster two players for their second match of the season. The ever-reliable Jack Adams played well for Rainham, registering good wins against Liuyun Guo and Zhong Jiao Tan before succumbing to the left-handed Danyal Asghar who will claim a man-of-the-match performance for being the only undefeated player on the night. In the doubles Tan and Danyal secured a comfortable 3-0 win against Jack and the second Rainham player, Stephen Hayes, to finish off a rather miserable evening for the visitors.
