A close match at Chatham, who were slighly depleted through illness to their squad.  Stuart Fritter posted a terrific maximum, which was made up of a three leg win, a fourth leg win and a fifth leg victory, the closest, 11,4 deciding leg triumph over Martin West. The upnor played had another two fifth leggers, and a brace to show for his efforts, doing well to come back and win the last two 11,3 over both  Julian Barker and Gareth Fox. Shane Jarrett and Nick Boden went away with two wins each, the latter fighting hard to defeat Julian 11,7 at the death.  Chatham manged to win the doubles to make the scoreline more respectable
