This was a tightly contested match  at the Howard with no team coming out on top.
Scott Friday picked up his customary treble and was supported by Wayne Youngs and Tim Vaughan, who could only produce a win apiece.  The big surprise was the excellent  fifth leg win, that veteran Trevor Towers produced over Tim Vaughan, despite losing one leg 11,1!.  The ever improving Johann Lee registered a brace, which included two fifth leg victories,  Wayne and Tim both on the receiving end. Maxwell Antrim made sure he didn't leave empty handed with a brilliant three leg win over Wayne. Chatham just avoided the defeat with a 11,8 fifth leg win in the doubles, to secure the draw.
