Match Report
Howard were without their Scottish Talisman Ian Gordon, so had to setle for just the six points in their victory over Sturdee 1. Simon Forest didn't drop a leg in his treble and was supported by Alan Watson, who registered a brace. The Howard player almost squeezed a maximum, just going down 11,9 in the fifth, to Scott Friday. Tim Vaughan made sure he arrived with his bat, after the ambarrassment of the previous match. when he left it at home!. He posted one victory, defeating Tony Bull, as did Jill Shipton, who came from two legs to one down, to overcome Tony 11,5 in the decider, excellent from the Sturdee player. Howard just edged the doubles in the fifth, to secure the victory
