Week 9, and only 2 matches to go, and we now have a 2-way tie at the top with only a 3 games difference between the two teams. Joint leaders from last week, Rowhedge E (Jared Chelski & Chloe Andrews) brushed aside Gt. Horkesley A (Steve Holland & guest Alan Burgess) 5-0 with only the doubles going the full distance. Pegasus B (Kevin Turner & Helen Woolnough)  beat Rowhedge F (Martin & Gracie Edwards) 4-1 which keeps the Pegasus team level at the top. Dedham A (Jennie Clarke & Denise Thompson) maintained  their challenge with a 3-2 win over Rowhedge G (Lawrence Hornsby & Jarek Sahaj) which effectively ends any aspirations that the Rowhedge side might have had for this season. Tollgate A (Daryl Lott & Matt Horrocks) lost 4-1 to Rowhedge B (Pawel Szermo & Andrzej Nowak). The Rowhedge win putting space between the 2 sides.

Rowhedge C (John Andrews & David Moss) lost 4-1 to Pegasus A (Steve Noble & Derek Agent). This win lifts them off the foot of the table, doubling their wins for the season. Rowhedge A (Nigel Claydon & Roger Clarke) just edged out Rowhedge D (guests Rik James & Vic Little) 3-2 with the A side recovering from a 2-0 deficit to win. The only match that went the distance saw Nigel beating Rik 19-21, 24-22, 21-19 to level the match at 2-2.
 

Next week sees a top of the table clash between Rowhedge E & Pegasus B the winners then being favourites for the title. Gt. Horkesley A are matched with Dedham A who are still in with an outside chance, although their games difference might be too much to overhaul. Elsewhere Tollgate A play Rowhedge A, bottom placed Rowhedge F play Rowhedge G, Pegasus A are matched against Rowhedge D with the final clash between Rowhedge B & C.
