Week 5. This week sees Rowhedge G (Lawrence Hornsby & Jarek Sahaj) forging ahead at the top having only 
dropped 2 games in the 5 matches played. Their latest victims were Tollgate A (Daryl Lott & Wudong Liu) who
succumbed 5-0. It could be that their handicaps are a little generous and may need some tweaking.

Rowhedge E (Jared Chelski & Chloe Andrews) beat Rowhedge C (Thomas Lewis & guest Alan Burgess) 4-1. Thomas winning the first game of the evening then it all went downhill when the youngsters upped their games. Pegasus B (Jill Canning & Helen Woolnough) just edged out Rowhedge A (Nigel Claydon & Roger Clarke) 3-2 moving them up to joint 2nd. place. Gt. Horkesley A (Keith Monk & Simon Gilhoolly) eased past Pegasus A (Alan Foley & Derek Agent) 4-1 with only the doubles going the distance. The other team in joint 2nd. spot, Dedham A (Denise Thompson & Jenny Clarke) narrowly beat Rowhedge D (Lajos Zsisku & Tim Leung) 3-2, with 3 games going the full distance. This is the closest that the Rowhedge side has come to that elusive victory.

Rowhedge B (Kamil Lentas & Pawel Szermo) attained their teams' 1st. victory of the campaign beating Rowhedge F (Martin & Gracie Edwards) 4-1. Pawel inflicting a rare defeat on Martin, winning in 3 sets.
