With the top two teams having a week off, it was down to reigning champions Brixham Sharks to make a move up the First Division table with a fine 8-2 win over Dawlish Aces. Stam Kioufis won all 3 for the Sharks with Rory Harries taking a game off Kioufis and beating both Jazmin Johns & Adam Shipway.  Kelvin Cheung, NA Buzzards’ youngster, was unbeatable in the Buzzards’ 8-2 win over Brixham Trawlers. A close encounter between Torbay Academy II & Brixham Gulls saw the latter clinching a 6-4 win by winning the last doubles.

Second Division leaders Taverners had a comfortable 8-2 win at Marldon Tykes, with Alan Tyrrell winning his three for the leaders. There was nothing to separate the 2 chasing teams as N A Eagles & Battlers played out a 5-5 draw, Jim McIvor gaining another maximum for the Eagles. A David Atkin maximum helped Marldon move off the foot of the table with their first win of the season coming away from Brixham with a 6-4 victory over the Imports.

Dawlish Diamonds’ 10-0 victory over stablemates Drifters, saw them climb to the top of the table, but Denbury Tykes in 2^nd have games in hand.  An Issy Brown maximum for her Brixham Panthers side saw off club mates the Swifts 8-2, and Brixham Diamonds had a fine 7-3 victory over the Hasbeens, with the Diamonds’ Keith Williams securing his 3^rd maximum in a row.

Torbay Academy IV trio of Victor Bonfante, Jerry Hollings and Karol Lapa whitewashed NA Owls, thus seeing them at the top of the 4^th Division. Second place Torre Nadoes slipped up at Newton Abbot, going down 6-4 to the Falcons.  A Matthew Cooper maximum helped Torbay Academy V in their 8-2 victory over NA Kestrels. Brixham Dolphins came away from Newton Abbot with a 7-3 victory over the Hawks, Dan Webster-Hall remaining unbeaten again for the Hawks.
