New leaders of the Second Division are Brixham Imports as they knocked NA Eagles off the summit with a fine 7-3 victory at Teign School against the Eagles, Nick Williamson unbeaten for the Imports. NA Buzzards stay in contention with an 8-2 win over bottom side Denbury Tykes, as do Marldon, with two 7-3 wins over Denbury Tykes and Brixham Pirates, Helen Glover with maximums in both matches for Marldon. Taverners and Torbay Academy, both struggling this season, played out a 5-5 draw.

Torbay Academy’s First Division sides both won, but are still off the pace at the top of the table.  Patrik Cincala, on top form again, was unbeaten as the Academy’s first team defeated Battlers 7-3, while the Academy’s second string came away from Halwell with a 9-1 win. Dave Wills and Dan Barnett gained maximums for Academy 2.

The top three sides in Division 3 all had convincing 9-1 wins. Leaders Marldon Tykes defeated NA Falcons, with Lee Passmore preventing the whitewash as Dave Friend and Kevin Ayling secured maximums. Second- placed Brixham Diamonds saw off Torbay Academy 4, Keith Williams and Tom Haggerty with maximums; while Jerry Hollings’ singles win prevented the whitewash. And Brixham Dolphins overcame Dawlish Drifters; Joe Holmes, Nick & Stuart Shipley all with maximums but the Drifters took the final doubles to rescue a point.

The youngsters from Torbay Academy 6, with maximums from Herbie Sage, Curtis Sage, Jakub Piwowar, Zoe Barnett & Brandon Lewis, have opened up a significant lead at the top of the Fourth Division with two 10-0 victories over previous leaders NA Kites, and Brixham Panthers.  A Luke Robins’ maximum for NA Kestrels was not enough as his Kestrels side went down 4-6 to Torbay Academy 5. While an undefeated Mark Halse saw the N A Owls to another 6-4 victory, this time over Brixham Panthers.
