Torbay Academy 1 extended their lead at the top of the First Division with an 8-2 victory at Dawlish over the Aces, with Kris Piwowar and Paul Myatt unbeaten for the Academy. Second-placed NA Batmen were pushed all the way by clubmates the Buzzards. Buzzards’ Kevin Nicholls was undefeated in the singles and with doubles partner Jon Cheung had set points to tie the match, but eventually lost out to Dennis and Shaun Gibbs, which gave the Batmen a 6-4 victory.  Brixham Sharks were also playing clubmates, the Gulls, but found it easier going as they cruised home 9-1, with Adam Shipway and Gordon Holmes unbeaten for the Sharks.

Second Division leaders Torbay Academy 3 had Herbie Sage and Michael Hernandez in top form as they defeated Taverners 7-3.  NA Eagles closed the gap at the top to just 3 points with a 9-1 win over Marldon Tykes, as Andy Tyrrell, Jim McIvor & Ed Crawford won all their singles but dropped the final point when the Tykes took the doubles.  In another all-Brixham match, the youngsters overcame the experienced as the Dolphins defeated the Imports 7-3.

The two teams at the top of the Third Division, NA Hawks and Torbay Academy 4, could not be separated in a cracking match that ended 5-5.  The Hawks led 3-0 & 4-2, but then lost 3 sets in a row, all in the fifth game, to fall 5-4 behind.  Dave Doxsey and Ben Swettenham combined to win the final doubles and secure the draw which keeps the Hawks at the top, 3 points ahead of the Academy.  A Huw Darch maximum for Denbury Tykes keeps them in contention as they defeated NA Falcons 7-3.  Again, as in the Second division, the youngsters of Brixham triumphed over their more experienced colleagues, as a Bradley Hilton maximum for the Dolphins helped his side beat the Diamonds 7-3.  In a bottom-of-the-table clash, Hasbeens, with Mike Wickens in fine form, picked up their first win of the season as they defeated Dawlish Diamonds 8-2. The 8 points for Hasbeens lifts them off the foot of the table to be replaced by the Diamonds.

A top of the table clash in the Fourth Division saw another close encounter as Torbay Academy 5 narrowly defeated Torre Tigers 6-4, with Craig Collins taking a maximum for the Academy.  Luke Robins was undefeated as he led the NA Ospreys to an 8-2 victory over club mates the Owls, to reclaim the runners-up spot in the Division.  Torres R Us climb up the table with a whitewash victory over Dawlish Drifters, and Torbay Academy 6 defeated Brixham Swifts 7-3.
