Entering the final round of matches, both Torbay Academy 5 & Torre Tigers were level on points, with the Academy top due to winning more games.  Which meant the Tigers needed to go one better than the Academy in the final match.  With the Academy beating N A Kites 9-1, nothing short of a 10-0 would do for the Tigers in their match against Brixham Pirates.  Unfortunately for the Tigers they dropped a set, winning 9-1, so the teams finished level on 123 points each, making the Torbay Academy 5 side champions.
