The big top of the table clash in the 2^nd Division saw Torbay Academy 3 defeat NA Eagles 8-2 and open up a 6-point gap at the top of the table. Both Dan Webster-Hall and Herbie Sage were again unbeaten for the Academy side.  Alan Maynard, with a couple of maximums, helped his Brixham Imports side to a draw at Taverners and a 7-3 victory over club mates the Pirates. A fine all-round team effort by Marldon Tykes picked up a vital 6-4 win over fellow villagers Marldon to close the gap to just 2 points between the Marldon teams at the foot of the table, with Helen Glover takimg a maximum for Marldon.  Martin Sharp was in fine form for Brixham Pirates as they shared the points with the Battlers.

There was also a top of the table clash in the 4^th Division, where Torbay Academy also came out on top, this time their 5^th team, who defeated Torre Tigers 7-3, with maximums for the Academy’s Bubai Sinha Roy and Edvinas Damanskas both playing just their 2^nd matches for the Academy.  NA Owls defeated club mates the Ospreys 6-4 in an excellent match, full of improving youngsters, Dylan Bayliss picking up the man of the match award for the Owls. Andrew Davies and Ann Morris maximums helped Torres R Us to an 8-2 win over basement side Dawlish Drifters.  Torbay Academy 6, with Lucas Bradshaw unbeaten, narrowly defeated Brixham Swifts 6-4.

Another Jakub Piwowar maximum which helped his side, Torbay Academy 4, defeat Denbury Tykes 7-3, keeps the pressure on top side NA Hawks who beat struggling Dawlish Diamonds 8-2.  Ben Swettenham and Doug Morgan were unbeaten for the Hawks. Brixham youngsters Bradley Hilton and Tom Mercer were in fine form as their Dolphins side defeated the Hasbeens 7-3. There was a much needed win for NA Falcons at the foot of the table as they defeated Brixham Diamonds 7-3.

In the First Division it was top half of the table against bottom half of the table, with all matches going to form seeing comfortable wins for the top four. There were whitewash victories for the Brixham Sharks team of Shipway, Holmes and Banham over Halwell, and  for a NA Batmen team of Cheung, Gibbs Snr and Gibbs Jnr over Brixham Gulls.  Torbay Academy 1 defeated clubmates Academy 2, 9-1, Cincala & Piwowar with maximums.  Halwell recovered from their heavy defeat against Sharks to pick up a valuable 3 points in a 7-3 defeat at NA Buzzards. Halwell’s Mick Atkinson played well, but was unable to defeat Buzzard’s maximum man, Jon Cheung.  Halwell are now just 2 points adrift from Brixham Gulls at the foot of the table with a game in hand.
