Marldon Tykes started the evening with high hopes of denting their sister team’s 100% record.

However, once again the Denbury team proved far too strong. It says much for Denbury’s dominance of the division that the team that finished second in the table, Marldon Tykes, has a 100% record against the other teams in the division but has lost 8-2, 7-3 and 9-1 when Denbury Tykes have been the opposition.

Denbury did not boast too much and Marldon took the defeat philosophically!!

Congratulations to the champions, to Paul Hine for his 100% record and to the much improved Huw Darch with his 90% average.
