A disappointing result for Taverners and a deserved win for Brixham Trawlers by 7 sets to 3. At 3-2 up, Taverners seemed to be on course for a win but Trawlers won the the last 5 sets to thwart us!!

Another long (10.30 finish) and competitive evening and only 2 sets decided in 3. Crucially though Trawlers won 4 of the 5 sets that went to the final game and the important points which ultimately settled the match.

Alan completed a fine maximum and received excellent support from both Nick and Ian. After such a fine run of form, Martin had a rare "off night" so it was down this time to Colin with 2 wins and myself to secure the 3 points.

Now firmly established in 7th position, Taverners can begin to think of another season in Division 2 in 2018/19!!
