Another maximum from Chris Garner enabled Tykes to record a victory in the top of the table clash. After losing the first set, Tykes raced into a 6–1 lead only for Hawks to fight back taking the final three sets. This included the game of the night between the two left handers, Ben clinching a win over Kevin 13-11 in the fifth.
