Denbury Tykes first game back in Div 2 started in defeat to an established Marldon team - although with Tykes winning the first two games of the evening it wasn’t plain sailing, at least at first.

Helen showed her quality, attacking from both wings and this helped her achieve an excellent maximum, including inflicting a first league defeat on Paul for over a year (being unbeaten in the Div 3 for the whole of last season). 

It’ll no doubt take a few weeks for Tykes to feel at home in the higher division, and they look forward to striving for revenge when they next meet Marldon later in the season.
