Match Report
A competitive match to start the season with the Eagles winning 9-1 against a determined Falcons. The match was a lot tougher than the scoreline suggests. Jim was probably MOTM with a very consistent display for the start of the season. There were two comebacks from 2-0 down, won by each team, Ed Crawford coming from behind against Mike Davis 11-7 in the fifth and Mike Kavanagh 12-10 in the fifth against Curtis Sage. I enjoyed a cameo in the doubles with Jim to win in straight sets and complete the 9-1 Eagles win.
Good luck to the Falcons for the rest of the season.
