A really enjoyable evening between two teams who know each other’s games very well.
Matches were close throughout - with Paul and Huw both hitting and counter-hitting well to beat both Dave and Ed, but the latter both beat Pat to keep the scores close.

The final singles of the night saw Paul and Helen go head to head with Paul winning the first two games, and then saw Helen come storming back to win the next two and take the final game by choosing the right shots to hit and defend!

That left the match in the balance with just the doubles to go where Huw and Paul managed to get their tactics right and eventually won in four games to give Tykes a well deserved draw.
