A comprehensive win for Torbay Academy 2 by 8 sets to 2 leaving Taverners anchored to the bottom of the Division 2 table!
Both Stuart and Ben achieved maximums and were rarely troubled. Ben in particular appears to get better every year and with Nick S and Elsa part of their 4- person team, it is safe to say that TTTA2 will be one of the teams looking to win the Division.
Last night Elsa played and not Nick but she played well to win in 5 against yours truly and also against Martin losing after 4 competitive games.
A good evening of table tennis.
Taverners now have a "free" week to work on Plan "B".......
