Match Report
The last game of the season for both teams, saw Gulls clinch runners up place in division 2, as Titans took 3rd spot.
Titans needed a handsome win to pip them on the night (as the game started off with Gulls 4 points ahead of them in the table), but it wasn't to be for the Titans.
Congratulations to the Gulls winning 7-3 and therefore taking 2nd place.
Some great games were played out, the pick of them saw Chris Garner managing to beat Alan Maynard as he has done previously when they have locked horns, but they hadn't played for a few years. Alan calls him his Bogey player!
Chris managed to match Alan's pushing game to great effect, and pulled off the result. Winning the game in 3 sets which was his best scalp of the season..
Sorry Alan don't mean to rub it in!!! But I haven't won many matches!
That concludes the division 2 season.
