Neil Herrington’s man of the match performance was complimented by new signing Oliver Ho’s hat trick and three from skipper Anthony Ainley. At East Herrington, Joshua Weatherby, back from last weekend’s British league match in Nottingham, starred for St. Chad’s as they smashed 9 sets past a strong South Shields Unionists A side. Youssef Hassan debuted and hit a three maximum for Chad’s to lift them to second in the table with Keith Weatherby adding two more. Richard Wilson scored for Unionists. Junior Harry Todd, promoted from last season’s division three, made his division one bow and beat Gabriel’s seasoned Gary Anderson as DL Tigers edged out St. Gabriel’s B 6/4 at Kayll Road.
