Well it's been a long time coming but this was the match that showed what
West CAC can do, a bit too late in the season, when the team gave good
performance with a draw against Silksworth IM A. The Yorkshire terrier
Michael Hepworth fought hard against the Geordie Dave Craddock and just lost
in the 5th end 11-7, but had 3 set points in the 3 & 4 games. Magic Mick
played well to win 2, Alan won 2 and Michael 1. West CAC were 5-3 down Mick
beat Graham Sleep, which left Old Man Whitwham to play Young Buck Dave and
the unexpected happened he won in 4 ends.
It was a good game and some really great rallies , but I must mention Alan
Bickle who only lost 1 end so he was Man of the Match. So well done Alan.
