Match Report
In the vast West arena the local derby between West CAC and West CAB was fought out and 19 games all which equates to a 5 all draw, so no bragging right to either side.
It started off with Kishore overcoming Alan in 5 ends and followed by Dave Barber wining against Jason Garrett in 3 games, but Michael Hepworth defeated Linda Spensley 3-0. The C side went on to win the next 3 sets before Dave pulled a set back against Michael only for Alan to restore the 2 sets advantage against Linda, this brought together Kishore and Michael in an epic 5 game match were Michael had match point in the 4th end twice but only to lose 14-12 and Kishore went on to take the last end 11-4.
In the final set Dave beat Alan to claim a draw, this made Dave Barber Player of the Match, well done Dave.
Praise must go to Linda who did not win a set but she played some cracking back hands which I would have been proud of.
