West CAC came up against Redby and it started with a great game between Jason Gargett and the evergreen Malcolm Deneven  with Malcolm winning the first 2 ends but Jason fighting back and taking the next 2 games and he then went on to win the 5^th end 17-15. This was followed by Ken Tweedy overcoming Mick Redfearn in 4 ends, which then came to the next match.

Michael Hepworth was then faced with playing Wonder Woman, Amanda Paxton who defeated Michael in 4 ends and went through the rest of the West team like a whirlwind without dropping another game, which included the doubles with Ken against Jason and Alan Whitwham. Amanda gave a display of fast services and hard hitting with both backhand and forearm without any though for her poor opponents on the other side  of the net.

The last set Jason beat Ken in 4 games to complete a bad night for West who lost 8-2.

Well it was hard deciding Player of the Match between me and Amanda but she just got the nod so well played Amanda who was unstoppable on the night.
