Newly promoted Scorpions came up against a well established, Division 2 team. Crusaders raced into a 2-0 lead before Harry Veitch pulled one back. Crusaders won the next match but Harry Veitch and Oliver Wilkinson won the doubles to make it 3-2 at halfway. With two matches remaining, Crusaders were 5-3 up and heading for victory. 9th match pitted Paul Dale who had an unblemished record in Division 2 against Harry Veitch who decided to produce his very best form and beat Paul in four ends. Duncan levelled the match by beating Alan in the last game. Very competitive match played in a very good spirit. Looking forward to the return
