Ian Blake, Alan Perry, and Brian Childs arrived in the big city from Brandon in the disguise of Crusaders to play West CAC with Michael Hepworth, Alan Whitwham, Howard Foster, and a welcome return of mighty Magic Mick Redfearn to see if he could do the trick for his team.

It started well when Michael overcome Alan in 5 ends after losing the 1^st two games, then Howard lost to Ian ,despite playing well to gain the 2^nd end and then there was a great effort by the Whitwham, but only to lose to Brian over 5 ends.

Michael again lost the 1^st two ends against Brian but came back to win 11-3 in the 5^th, Alan had a titanic struggle against Crusaders number 1 Ian and lost once more over 5 ends and Magic Mick appeared with Alan in the doubles,  I think he needs greater magic when he plays with the Whitwham as they were defeated by Alan and Brian in 3 ends.

It was another defeat by 8-2, but it was a good match to play and a good effort by both teams on the night.

The Player of the Match winning all his sets was Ian Blake, so well played Ian.

Once again we sent a team from the outer reaches of the galaxy home to the planet Brandon happy.
