Magic v Fire

Magic are certainly are on a roll at the moment and everything is going their way. The Brandon team who are one of the friendliest in the league, unfortunately took some damage from Luke with his forehand drives and John Parkin said his wife will send the hospital bill to the Durham Club after suffering particularly in the doubles from Luke’s shots. This did not deter the Brandon doubles team of John and Nigel who however managed their only win in the match with a well-deserved 3-1 victory. The vitality and movement of the two younger players Ross and Luke were too much for Fire and even though the rallies were competitive  the fitter youngsters were just too much. A very pleasant game played in a sporting manner, enjoyable to watch.
