A match played in great spirit with East Boldon unfortunately being on the wrong side of  a lot of nets and edges. Obviously Peter Whitfield is doing a tremendous coaching job with Luke Dumighan and Ross Clennell as all three were continuously apologising for lucky points gained. It would certainly have given more credit to the battling performance put up by William Walton Leon Angus and Alan Bulmer who despite the setbacks put up a sterling performance with very little reward. All three were involved in lengthy rallies but rarely received the results their performance deserved.  Never mind the return match at East Boldon will be a different kettle of fish, well played all round.
