Match Report

A very close game between Magic and West B eventually gave it the result it deserved. Three proper Gentleman representing West, George Daley( I think he used to play for St Gabriels}, Malcolm Deneven and Dave Thompson were charming, helpful but always competitive with7 games going to 5 ends.
Luke Dumighan and Ross Clennell were backed up by Peter Whitfield and the games were played in a tremendous spirit.
The last game was the tightest with Luke needing to win to level the match, but George Daley got off to a good start with 2 x 7-11 wins and was 10-6 up in the third end but Luke battled back to win that end and the next one leading to a nail biting finale eventually going to Luke 13-11 to leave the score at 5-5, honours even.
Well done to all concerned for a sporting match played in a great spirit
