The game had been on and then off and back on again and as far as Magic were concerned they wish it hadn't been played and they had watched the France Morocco game as it seemed most of the Durham club members were doing.

They were no match for the experienced Jamie Westwater Michael Karczewski and Dave Bannon who ran out easy winners 8-2 against a misfiring team of Ross Ian and Luke. Only Ian and Luke managed a win each but the closest game was between Jamie and Ian with some really long rallies and eventually Jamie hitting two nets in a row to win the 4th end and the match.
