Match Report

It was a lovely warm night at Brandon, with as usual 4 games going on. We Were the first team to start actually playing, but were definitely the last to finish at 10.20 when there was only Paul Dunn left to help clear up.

In one corner Air were demolishing one team to keep them in contention for league 1 honours, meanwhile Joules were also demolishing their opponents  to help their Division 2 hopes, while Brandon Fire were playing what looked like an evenly contested match against East Boldon. In our corner it started as if Crusaders were going to demolish Magic with Crusaders storming to a 5-0 start. This did not reflect the closeness of the match as 3 of those games had gone to 5 ends. However there was a slight change of fortune in the last 5 and even though another 2 games went to 5 ends they both went to Magic. The final result gave Crusaders a deserved win of 6-4 in a close well contested but friendly match.
