West CAC travelled to the home of Brandon Table Tennis Empire to battle against the Fire and came away burnt, but not before the deadly duo Magic Mick Redfearn and Alan, the fall guy, Whitwham overcame John Parkin and larger than life Chris Leishman over 5 ends, this was Chris’s only defeat of the night. The match started as usual when John beat Alan over 4 ends, but Magic Mick a former fireman put out the flames of Keith McKenzie in 4 games and then Howard Forster lost to Chris in 3 ends. Keith then achieved his only victory of the night, yes you guess it was against Alan in a hard fought 5 ends, so well played that man. It was 5-2 to the home side with 3 sets left when West’s fight back started with Howard defeating Keith 11-4 in the 4^th end and then revival ended, you know why, Alan kept his record by losing to Chris and Alan made bad move by changing bats for the last game which he lost 11-1, good call.

Magic Mick lost a hard game against Chris, but then he redeemed himself to overcome John in 3 ends to make the score 6-4 for the Fire, well played the Brandon team.

Player of the Match was Chris Leishman, so well played that man on the night.
