Match Report
West CAC travelled to Stanley to play Backspin D in wintery conditions and were rewarded with their best result of the season in a 7-3 win.
Chainsaw Kelly was Player of the Match by defeating Adam Boudabouza in 5 ends, and then Luke Hannah was taken in 3 games, then Declan teamed up with Magic Mick Redfearn to overcome Backspin pair Of Jamie Hall and Geoffrey Cook in 3 ends. Chainsaw’s last set was against Jamie, who was undefeated this season, and this was Declan best performance of his short career, to win against a very good player and sport in 5 ends, so well played both.
An early PS Magic Mick won 2 and Alan Whitwham 1 but lost to Luke, that was a good win for him.
So, Chainsaw Kelly was Player of the Match, so well-done Declan and keep up the good work.
I was a bit disappointed when one of their team played his last game and left without saying farewell and another left without a handshake, because it’s all about socialising after the match and making friends for the future.
Gan Canny,
Alan, being serious for once, Whitwham.
